It's All About Me!
Sculpting Dreams and Cultivating Creativity
Just for a moment, picture a world where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, where everyday materials become incredible works of art. This is my world, as Omid Kiyaee, a sculptor and educator who has spent over two decades bringing his artistic visions to life.
From Tehran to the World
In 1974, Tehran, Iran, I opened my eyes into this world, the world of art where beauties are everywhere and I learned to respect them each.
A Symphony in Sculpture
In 2002, I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran with a degree in sculpture. Since then, I have sculpted many sculptures from an array of materials: bronze, stone, wood, clay, and more. I did my best and tried to make those sculptures not just some static objects but living, breathing expressions of this world.
Mentorship as an Artform
For over 17 years, I have served as a lecturer to many learning artists. My students are not just pupils; they're great artists whose passion made them the true creators, and this is one of my pride of life.
Awards and Accolades
My works have garnered 19 awards and certifications from prestigious organizations and companies.
An Architect of Beauty
As a permanent member of the Artists Association of Iranian Sculptors since 2001 and the Institute for Promotional Contemporary Visual Art, I am deeply ingrained in the artistic fabric of my homeland. My involvement with the Tehran Municipality showcases my dedication to adorning the city where I lived in for many year.
At the end, I would like to welcome you to the journey of Omid Kiyaee.
And A Thousand Words Deep!
